Job Opening

Southwestern Child Development Commission, Inc. is accepting applications for the position of Lead Teacher to work in Haywood County.  Applicants must have a BA or BS degree and a valid license to teach Birth-Kindergarten or willingness to get an add-on.  Preference will be given to applicants who have experience working in a qualified early childhood educational setting with 0-5 year old children, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain an approved medical statement and meet all state child care licensing requirements.  Must have a car available for work.  Full benefits package is available.

Job Opening 

 

Southwestern Child Development Commission, Inc. is accepting applications for a Reimbursement Specialist at the Sylva Office. This person should have knowledge of computer applications accompanied by data entry skills, possess strong organizational skills, and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to learn other customized computer software. An Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Technologies, or related field and/or experience in a business office is preferred. Salary will be negotiated depending on education and experience with a full benefits package offered.
