Southwestern Child Development Commission, Inc. is accepting applications for the position of Lead Teacher to work in Haywood County.  Applicants must have a BA or BS degree and a valid license to teach Birth-Kindergarten or willingness to get an add-on.  Preference will be given to applicants who have experience working in a qualified early childhood educational setting with 0-5 year old children, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain an approved medical statement and meet all state child care licensing requirements.  Must have a car available for work.  Full benefits package is available.

Southwestern Child Development Commission, Inc., is accepting applications for an Administrative Assistant to the Direct Services Manager.  This position will be located in the Fiscal office.  A high school diploma or equivalent with two years of experience in administrative or clerical work is required; An Associate Degree is preferred.  Knowledge of early childhood is also preferred. Applicants should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and have the ability to learn other software applications. Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
