Southwestern Child Development Commission, Inc. is accepting applications for the position of Lead Teacher to work in Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Swain, Jackson and Haywood Counties. Applicants must have a BA or BS degree and a valid license to teach Birth-Kindergarten or willingness to get an add-on. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience working in a qualified early childhood educational setting with 0-5 year old children, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain an approved medical statement and meet all state child care licensing requirements. Must have a car available for work.
