NFP Nurse Supervisor
Southwestern Child Development Commission, Inc., a private nonprofit agency, is accepting applications for a Nurse Supervisor to work with the Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) Project. This position will assure that the NFP program is implemented in accordance with established guidelines and contract requirements and will provide support and oversight to the work of four nurse home visitors who will serve Haywood, Jackson, Macon and Swain counties. A Master’s Degree in Nursing is preferred. Minimum qualifications require at least a Bachelors degree in Nursing and relevant licensing in good standing. Desired experience includes: work in public/community health, home visitation, provision of maternal/child health services, program management, one on one supervision and work with diverse populations. The NFP Project is an evidence based home visitation program for first time parents to help improve pregnancy outcomes, child health and development and self sufficiency.
