Daniel’s journey in early childhood education began in the picturesque foothills of North Carolina in the late 1990s and has since grown to span all the way to the coast. A proud product of FCC, he has worn many hats over the years—FFN caregiver, lead teacher, assistant director, director, central office director for after school and early education programs—and even steps into the higher education classroom from time to time to inspire future educators and to support the workforce.
Since 2010, Daniel has been a dedicated part of the NC CCR&R system, bringing a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion to the field. He holds an A.A. from Surry Community College, a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from the University of Mount Olive, and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership, Policy, and Advocacy in Early Childhood from UNCW, along with a certification in college teaching and learning.
Whether guiding learners, mentoring educators, facilitating engagement, or shaping statewide initiatives, Daniel remains committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families across North Carolina.
